Not too long ago I went to a gathering to try and improve some of my outdoor survival skills and to meet up with some like minded people. Everyone was there to help each other learn and to share their own skills. James Gibson was gracious enough to come and teach people how to make some primitive dead fall traps along with some other skills. He is a heck of an instructor and did everything right in front of us, just finding the supplies he needed right around him in the woods. The entire time he is demonstrating, I keep trying to get a closer look at his knife. I got so close to it at one point I almost got my nose cut off. Turns out he made this knife himself a long time ago but I thought it looked really familiar. I kept thinking he had brought an Arowana with him, what do you guys think?

Sorry best shot I got of it all day.

Cool sounding weekend. Its funny how utility type designs are repeated over and over again.

Pretty close to the shape of the Arowana! That's awesome. Sounds like a fun time!
