Our good friend and gentle moderator did not end your thread. Because it did not pertain to knives, he moved it to the community forum. With 3600+ memmbers here, we need to practice good housekeeping or this place will become a mess quickly.

which is specific to guns. While there are many people with interests in both and you are likely to get some very good responses to your question here, you might also be interested in thefireline.com if you are also interested in guns.

Not meaning to pick on you but simply use you as an example: more folks need to explore the entire site taking note of all the specialized forums provided, read the BFC rules and FAQs before charging off. It would certainly make life easier for all concerned.
