Howdy all! I just wanted to give an initial review to a knife that I just got today. I'll post more about performance lter, but I wante to let y'all know that James has made a VERY good knife. I contacted him about one of his Nek 2 model neck knives, and he was very prompt in getting back to me, as well as listening to my input on the knife. The knife arrived with a very well done Kydex sheath, and a molded Kydex clip (that I hadn't known would be sent) so that I can carry the knife on the belt or on the neck. Currently it sits in the top of my front pants pocket. It is around 5.5" OAL with a 2.5" blade. The balance point is dead center of the knife, and it has terrific Green Canvas Micarta handles. 1/8" thick, and a bit of heft on it to boot. I don't know about others, but I hate knives that are so light they feel cheap! This one definitely is staying put, and the best part about this is that not only is the knife a quality product, because James is a canadian maker, I saved a bit on the exchange rate! Quality, handmade goodness!!! Just thought I'd share, and again, I'll put more of a utility review up later!

Sincerely,
Anthony

I have one of Jim's drop point hunters with buffalo horn handles that is a very nicely made great performing knife. He is a hidden gem in custom makers

Thank you for the kind words . :)

Sorry for not getting to this thread sooner , we have been going nuts around here since the Canadian knifemakers Guild show and now packing up for the move at the start of July .

I am glad you like how your Nek-2 came out Anthony , it is a really nice blade to carry and so useful .Please let me know how your testing goes.

bansidthe - You must have got that one through Ontario Sporting ( I really miss that shop) . I am glad you like it , it was a nice package with the horn .

As with all who have bought knives from me, I wish you the best of luck and if I can help you at all in the future please contact me .
