I have two James R Luman knives that are from my Grandpas collection. Is anyone familiar with JRL Knives? I am looking for information on them.

He has #4 and #7

Thanks in

Had one for a few years. Colored canister damascus hunter. Nicely done with a sheath for a modest price at the time. Purchased at the Montana Knifemakers show. Not sure to whom it was sold. Time goes so fast so not sure of the year of purchase but early in this century. Not sure if James is still around or making knives as he is last listed in the 2015 Knives Annual.
You could try contacting the Montana Knifemakers Association
http://www.montanaknifemakers.com/

but I did find him listed as a member
55555 Clear Creek Trail, Anaconda, MT 59711 406-560-1461

no email or website listed.

This link is from a show I attended in 2007. I think the last one I went to was 2011.

Scroll to post #13 - #15 and you will see some of Jame's knives. Also continue to about post #77-79 as I recall for a bit more info.
