Here's an awesome little hunter I was able to pick up from Kevin Cashen at the Janesville show on Friday. It's his O1/L6 damascus and a stag handle. It's the first of what I hope to be many Cashen knives in my collection.

I like the looks of that. Nothin prettier then nice damascus and stag! And a Cashen to boot. Nice grab!

i like this knife a lot! kevin's twist damascus is fantastic, visually striking, excellent performance. good idea to take this one home!

best regards,
hans

What a great hunter! Kevin always does such a wonderful job in marrying great functional design elements with superb aesthetics, and being as knowledgeable as he is about metallurgy and the science of good steel, you simple know this knife will serve any user well. Congrats.

That would've been my choice as well, if I had any money to spend at the show. I liked that one more than the similar hunter he had with walrus ivory.

Sweet.I really like the way Kevin left the handle over sized so as the stag swells and shrinks it will be nearly unnoticeable.
