Here's the story. A forumite emailed saying he wanted to buy the Jangee. He further said he would get a check in the mail same day. I agreed to hold the Jangee for 5 days. So here it is two weeks later and no check. This is what I was complaining about a few months back. Guys saying yes when they really mean no. As you can imagine this works a hardship on us which we really would like to avoid.
If you want a very good Jangee this is your chance. This khukuri was made by Sher rather than Bura as stated in the above thread and a fine job he did. The problem with the knife is shipping damage to the handle. The rear end chipped out at the buttcap but Yangdu found the chip and superglued it back in place. It will take maybe 15 minutes to bring the knife back to original condition. Need to sand off the superglue left by Yangdu.
Price is still $80 and this is an unqualified UBBB.
