Another collaboration with Bruce.

This one is premium Stag with antiqued coin edged bronze spacers, a ring of mammoth core ivory and some .055 damascus spacers. The pommel is skeletonized for balance and contains an insert of stabilized Swordfish Bill. Blade and all fittings are etched and cold blued.

Steven, it looks great even in the picture.
Guys, we had this bowie in Little Rock and it was the first one people picked up from the table. The swordfish bill is a nice touch.
 
Yeah that is a cool knife for sure. Man with that little accent from the Swordfish bill I imagine it made some fisherman happy! :)

I enjoyed handling this piece, very nice.
It was another addition to a table of very fine knives.

This was a wonderful project with my good freind Bruce Bump. He gave me his full support and answered all my questions while still insisting that I do things my way. This is my second collaboration with him and I would be fooling myself if I didn't give him the proper credit for elevating my status as a maker as well as instilling greater confidence in my own work.

A beautiful knife for sure. I bet the guy who snagged this one let out a big "WooHoo!" . . . or maybe it was a big "Yahoo!" . . . or even a big "Wahoo!"
