Jantz slow to ship?

Can someone with experience comment on whether Jantz is normally slow to ship? I ordered some stock from them last Thursday, and I checked on it yesterday. They said it should ship yesterday afternoon. I still haven't received any tracking info, so I am assuming it didn't go out then either.

I'm not bashing, just wondering if this is a typical shipping interval for them or not.

Yesterday was a federal holiday. US Post Office was closed. A couple days isn't slow. 2-3 weeks is slow. 2 months that I've been waiting for my humidor conditioner to ship is really slow! I don't think Jantz is slow.

Gah! I forgot all about the holiday.....since I had to work :p

Taking that and the weekend in to account, I suppose a few days isn't too bad. I guess I am just eager to get my stuff and get working!

jantz is by far the quickest to ship orders IMO.

I do live in Oklahoma...but usually right after I order it upgrades to shipped within hours.

They are a great company and use them often! Plus they now stock my favorite belts:thumbup::D

I never get any respect from Ken Jantz :D His girls are all top notch though, and he's a good friend so that would explain the no respect.

Good luck here, I've ordered from them 3 or 4 times and the shipping time was fine.

Never slow in my experience. Shipping to South Georgia has always been surprisingly quick.

I have had to email Terri a couple of times asking for a tracking #, but she always replies quickly with the requested info.

I just ordered a pretty decent sized amount of goods and it got here to Washington State fast. I never did receive a shipping notification however. Maybe it was a mistake, or it got stuck in the spam filter, or maybe they don't send them? Regardless, everything got here in great time.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'm sure it was just a combination of my eagerness, and the weekend/holiday that had me wondering. :)

Ha! I received my stuff yesterday, and started on my first two knives. Yay! They did a really nice job packaging and labeling everything. When I can get home and take some pictures, I will try to start a WIP thread on them. Meanwhile, my design is in my thread "new guy". I'd appreciate any tips you guys have!

Nothing but a positive experience with Jantz. I did place an order the end of January that was slow getting to me because of the snow storn in Oklahoma. USP shipments were delayed.
