Well, It has been one hell of a ride and we are still going strong. We have finally gotten some stuff figured out and seem to have a handle on most production issues. We are trying to slow it down a bit to make sure that everything is right before it leaves the shop. This is VERY important to me. My wife and I are changing some of the ways in which orders are being processed to make sure that no one gets shuffled to the back for repair work and such. Most of the back orders are filled and the remaining ones will be filled in a few weeks. We are working on a batch of folders and have a new folder design waiting in the wings. A couple of the folders will be going to one of our dealers in Germany and the rest will go to folks on our waiting list. We are getting closer to bringing out the second generation Brend Marauder which will have the blade handground and finished by me. The handle will be a mortised tang design and it will look and feel exactly the same as the old one except there will not be any exposed metal in the tang area. The price will go up a little, but it will be a full custom knife and marked with my custom logo and the Brend design logo. The standard Brend fighting hatchet and the deluxe Brend hatchet have been ground and should be shipped to be coating facility by next week. They should hit the street by mid Febuary. The Vegas classic is on hold for right now because I hurt my back before Christmas and was out of the shop for over a week. That put me a few weeks behind and I may not be able to pull it off. I'll keep you posted.
