It looks like someone's been playing with different handle materials. I can't grab a photo of it right now. There's a 117 in iron wood/brass, the 500 series in Paua shell, and a slim 110. Too many temptations, and I'd just been telling myself to lay off the knife purchases for a while.

Me too, I ordered a 501. I was actually going to order a custom shop buffalo 501 soon, so when these popped up I couldn’t resist. If these were BOTM I can’t imagine they’d still be available.

I tried to buy both, because they seem to compliment each other. A lot of strange things were happening on the Buck site while I was ordering. I ordered the mop while logged in. But I ordered the paua later as a guest, since I didn't want to spend time logging in. I didn't get email confirmations for either, although I see the money was taken out for both. So I suppose I'll have to wait for Monday before I see if I am really getting them or not. The mop is in my order history on the site. But for the paua, all I have is a PayPal invoice. We'll see.

I forgot. Buck order confirmation emails got into my spam folder, for some reason. So it does look like I got in for the two 532s and the BOTM - a very unexpected monetary hit on my bank account right after Christmas. Now I play the waiting game to see when they arrive.

Maybe it's a good thing I didn't see this while they were still available. I don't know if I could have resisted.
