The 109 Ranger Twin Set paired a 105 with the smaller 107. Late '40's to early '50's.
Buck would pair any two knives of your choosing into a twin set for $1 less than the individual knife costs.

Later, Buck would re-use the model 109 for one of the Yellowstone special models:
I was hoping someone would bring that up. I don't have much Yellowhorse in my collection.
Hastin Naat'aani is listed as 109Y5 in 1991 and Eagle Dancer as 109Y4 in 1994. I can find no reference to a Y1,Y2, or Y3. I am unable to find a complete listing of the 109's and I have a feeling possibly not all chip flint 112's were marketed thru Buck. Any Yellowhorse experts here?
