japan voyager value?

hi guys. found a Japan made tanto voyager for $50. looks like new. guy says it is 2002. does this seem like a decent price? I saw one on Ebay just go for $75 but I don't have enough data points to see if that is the exception or the norm. I'm more of a KAI guy, but a Japanese made cold steel tanto seems like something that should be in every knife collection.
 
i believe your membership doesnt allow you to ask this question but incase im mistaken, yes. buy lots of them.
 
thanks all. sorry if the question was out of line for my status. I assumed that was for sales purposes, but I can see how someone might use a question as a sneaky attempt at a sale thread. thanks for the info though. think I'll try to scoop it up.
 
I and many others are always interested in Voyagers with VG1. The one's that have Aus 8 blades are hard to sell. I believe all of the VG1 knives have it stamped on the blade. Mine does.The Aus 8 don't. Mine doesn't. Many sellers will say that "they aren't sure" or they "think it is VG1".
