Japanese folding knives. Brand Al Mar

Yup, very high quality. If you search the forum you'll dig up loads of info on them. I've had a few at different times, currently have one of the falcon models.

I have a Payara. It is glass smooth and blazing fast to open or close. Great lock up. Fit and finish are outstanding.

Those knives are made by Moki, in Japan. As are some models from Spyderco. If you look at some models from both companies, you can see some mechanical similarities. They are about on par with Spyderco's offerings from the same place.

Only have a Sere 2K now, but like has been said - excellent craftsmanship and top notch materials.

I had a Falcon for like 24 hours but I had just gotten into knives and stupidly was in a not into lockback mood. In hand it was super high quality fit and finish!

A place I never dealt with before has the Al-Mar S.E.RE. 2000 series at good prices. These look good to me, but I was not familiar with the brand, or seller? That is why I asked about the brand.

Excellent quality knives. Little pricey but IMO worth it. I have sere 2000 d/a Vallotin. Love it.Smooth as glass.

I think they're a smidge over priced, but my Eagle HD is VERY well made and has better fit and finish than just about anything in my collection. Edge geometry also seems to be really top notch, which makes a big difference in the cutting performance.

I honestly still think no other countries people make sauce a big deal out of little stuff. This the Japanese make great stuff.
