Japanese inspired short sword

21" blade of 1084 with antique etch
just shy of 29" overall
Aged brass spacer, mild steel guard and pommel, carved and textured.
Leather over hickory handle.
All comments or critique welcome.

I can see the similarity now that you mention it.
I had "Japanese blade" in my head when I forged it, but I don't always see things that are floating around in my head with a ton of clarity.
