Japanese Katana Handdle cord

Hi, I am a newbie interested in japanese swords!

I would like to know where can I obtain the cord used for a Katana handdle and if there is any online tutorial on how to do the cord wrap.

Also What is the best quality Katana under 800? I was considering the Kris Cutlery Higo.

By the way does anyone knows where I could see more pictures of the Kris Higo? On their site there is just one picture and the handdle guard is not shown.

Also another sword I was considering is the Shinto from Paul Chen

The shinto is a great katana, a friend has one and he uses the hell out of it.
