if it's called virgin carbon steel it's not aogami or white steel.
aogami is blue steel.
shirogami is white steel.
some japanese makers don't wanna let people know what kind of steel they specifically use. that's just how it is.
if it's virgin carbon steel, it's something they call so noone knows what it is. virgin carbon steel just means carbon steel that hasn't been recycled from used / defective knives or whatever.
