Hi folks I'm looking for a sheath maker who knows how to do Japanese style wooden katana sheath/handle.
I have a Takeda kogatana, 7" overall. I'm no expert of Japanese style sheath but here's what the knife looks like, and my terribly drawn concept.
In general it should end up something like this:
I know the blade in this pic is drastically different from my kogatana but I think you get my idea, it doesn't need to have the collar(habaki) as long as it fits well.
Can experts out there please throw me a bone, is my concept drawing even valid? anyone willing to take on the job?
Thanks in advance!
