Japanese Sword identification

Hi All,

I am a collector of Danish Edged weapons and have recently bought a larger collection. Included in this collection was two Japanese Sword blades... i know absolutely nothing about Japanese swords so i am hoping on a little help in here...

Please help me with any information you might have. Are they "real", what maker, and so on..

Aside from scrap value, no, not really.
Some might tell you to cut stuff with them but you should consider that it's unlikely that the swords have had any heat treatment, so that could potentially be dangerous.
