Japan's Combat Knife magazine

Help...I'm looking for the latest issue with the Strider Tiger on the cover. There is also another issue that featured an article about "the guys" pretty extensively and it's 1-2 years old. Any help in locating either or both of these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I am familiar with the Japanese magazine "Knife" and have a subscription but I didn't know there was a magazine called "Combat Knife". There is also a book "SENTO" Knife. Are you referring to either of these publications? If not please tell me more about this magazine. The issue that is 1-2 years old may be "Kukuto" Knife. These can be ordered from Kinokuniya in New York City. Dick

Just a heads up.

Kinokuniya Books in NYC has the book in stock. I was there today and they had about 10 copies on their shelf.

Budrichard,
Thanks for the reply...I'm not familiar with the SENTO magazine (I'm interested) but the Combat Knife is a large format glossy, slick magaazine that has limited publication and they are not in the habit of having backorders available. It's usually full of excellent photography, I don't read Katakana so I can't speak for the text...but I recognize STRIDER when I see it! Hope this helps.

p.s. To CEYA ONE...I sent you an email..waiting for reply.

Success at last...Budrichard you were 100%! The loose translation of Sento is Combat...and after 3 phone calls, I finally spoke with Sarai (young lady) at the store and she is processing the order. They still have a few copies left FYI. Thanks for everyone's help - what a great resource!
