Not sure I can call “traditional” this Movilli Bowie...
img4531j.jpg

Specs:
Length OAL: 330mm
Blade length: 185mm
Blade thickness: 6mm
Steel: A2, satin
Handle: Burled amboynas and fossil Sea Cow teeth

...but I guess yes, as it’s a proper bowie both in terms of shape and workmanship. Jarno Movilli is an awarded Italian knifemaker, well know for his high valuable works http://www.movilli-knives.com/

Hi Alfredo!

I´m sure you can call that a traditional. Why not?

Seems to be a very nice Bowie. Is it full tang? It has a great finishing! I like the blade and the inserted "dots" on the tang and the bladeback very much.

Thank you for sharing this!

Kind regards
Andi

Very nice looking Bowie there. No customs for me yet, but that one would be very tempting. Thanks for posting it.

Alright Alfredo... Thank for the answer! I would like to have this one in the rucksack for food prep and an other things like hunting (if I would have the documents) and just for collecting it :) ...

Kind regards
Andi

Wow that's a pretty knife! I'm thinking Bowies are traditional too. :)

It looks both traditional and very well executed to me. Great looking bowie!

Thanks for sharing.

Traditional? Works for me. (I make it a point not to get overly fussy with a man who has a large knife.)

Beautiful knife. Very traditional.

I Alfredo, is possible contact in private about the Movilli's kinves?

He has not logged in here in over 6 years. He probably isn't going to answer.

We have a Want to Buy section in the Knife Exchange. You can post a thread there even as a Registered User. Anyone with selling privileges (Gold or higher) will be able to see it. You'll be able to see your thread, but none of the other threads. If someone has one to sell, they can contact you.

As has been explained to you in post No.13 you need a paid membership to find any possibly available knives on this Forum. The maker no longer appears to be active.
