Fellas, I think they’re both extremely solid knives. I have zero reservations about spending my hard earned cash on either. Frankly, I’ll echo what others have said, for the price, you can’t beat the quality.
The choppa seems to be a very solid and sleek knife. It has beautiful lines yet some serious strength to its design. I am still playing with my grip on the handle, obviously you can clutch it a few different ways. I know people have mixed feelings about the choil, but I really like it on the Jarosz. I’d love to get a similar sized knife with a distinct guard; neither have that. The Becker guys already know how I feel about Ethan’s handle; it’s damn near perfect. I own 11 Becker knives. Ethan’s handle is beefy with great contours. I have pretty average sized hands so the proof will be in the pudding when I actually have a chance to swing the king and the choppa. I have a few pallets and old plastic pool steps that may feel the wrath next weekend. I can’t wait!
I should also mention, you can attach the Jarosz globe trotter to the front of the choppa’s sheath. I haven’t been able to find any pics online but I think that’s brilliant so, the gt may be next. The Turok looks cool too! Hopefully, my wife won’t leave me. Lol
