I'm hoping to catch the ear of OKB and maybe Jesse directly...

I love the Jarosz designs... they are fantastic.
If you really really want to promote the line, I would LOVE to see micarta or G10 scales available, they way they are for the Becker lineup. Much like the BK knives, they are great knives for a great price, and I'd bet people would be willing to throw down the extra coin to upgrade to a more premium material.

I for one, would LOVE to throw some Micarta on a Globetrotter, or better yet, the traction benefits would really be handy with the "Choppa."

Ultramid/grivory/fancy plastic is a very durable material, but damn if it doesn't cheapen the feeling of a fantastic knife...

In summation, please PLEASE help us out here and sell us the products I (and I imagine others) would buy to upgrade your already awesome product.

I would sure like some Micarta and G-10 options :D

Me too, if fact I told Jesse the same thing when won the Choppa in his GAW. Don't get me wrong the plastic ones are more than adequate, but I AM a micarta junkie. I'm gonna make some micarta scales for it in the months to come. Would be great if Kabar would manufacturer them tho.

With so much interest in scale options for the Jarosz line it's probably safe to say we'll be making are own :D

The biggest issue with accessory components is how many models they fit. The KA-BAR Becker Micarta handles fit all large Becker models, which make them a great value for the investment. The Jarosz lineup is still young and as such there isn't much redundancy, in fact zero at the moment, in terms of handles. The cost to tool up for one specific pattern would not make financial sense and the price of these scales would reflect that. Sales of accessories such as Micarta handles are relatively low, which makes the need for a somewhat universal fit amongst several products a must. As the Jarosz line grows accessories such as Micarta handles will certainly come in to play.

And here you had to come along and make all kindsa sense... booooo.

A totally logical and measured business move. Makes all the sense in the world.

Then again, the BK11 is the only model that BK11 scales fit, and we can get micarta for those.... (I bet there are a lot more of them around though since they've been produced for years.)
