You and I sort of hijacked that thread (my appologies) so I started this so we could discuss some Busse knives.

The Off Duty is quite rare (sorry, don't have an exact number). Here is a pic

If you are loooking for a hard use knife that you can get your hands on in the next few weeks, you might want to look for the Fusion Steel heart. Their are two grades, the HOGFSH (Heavy Ordinance Grade Fusion Steel Heart), this blade is 7.5 inches long and is made of 5/16 stock. The other, FSH (Fusion Steel Heart) is made of 1/4 inch stock. (Check the "Nothing but Pics" thread for pics of both knives.

This is a FSH, the HOGFSH has the same profile but is made of 5/16s stock as opposed to 1/4.

I can see where you are coming from with all these crazy acronyms. I am still trying to remember them all. It only gets worse, as more models are coming out. Their is a sticky at the top of the page that *might* help. Post whatever you want here and I (and other more knowledgable people) will do our best to help you. On the bright side, it helps you find the SHIFT button faster! :D ;) :p

Either the FSH or HOGFSH, would make great work horse knives. The company store, www.bussecompanystore.com will probably have them instock in the not to distant future (read weeks).

However, if you want to hold out for the King (Or get another :D ), then their is the FBM (Fusion Battle Mistress). The FBM is equipped with a 10 inch blade.

For the record, all of these pics were found using the search feature. However, to be fair, it did take over a half hour tring to find descriptors that did not return an error message. It can be a pain to use, but it can be done as long as you have the time to do it. And I happen to have quite a bit time on my hands as everyone on this forum will attest. :D

Thanks alot, I`m gonna look into getting one of them 5/16 fusion steel hearts. I keep trying the search but all I get is page can`t be displayed. I tryed fusion steel heart,fusion battle mistress, busse, busse fusion battle mistress,busse fusion steel heart, busse 5/16 fusion steel heart. Yet all I get is page can`t be displayed no matter what.

Here is a tip I found works well. The search engine will only open a page if their is a reasonable amount of results. Their must be hundreds of posts that contain the word "Busse", so it is therefore not a good descriptor. Likewise, "Steel Heart" and "Battle Mistress" will yield far to may results and you will get an error message. Try entering words like "5/16", basically try being as specific as possible while still remaining open enough to get the most amount of results.

Oh, if you look a the company store now under "Order Here" you will notice that it is down, meaning it is (hopefully) being updated. This is possibley the FSHs and HOGFSHs, or the Heavy Duty! :D

On the Heavy duty no one knows (or is willing to tell) exactly what it is or what it looks like.

You can go to the company store now if you want a HOGFSH. :D :cool:
