Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone had bought a knife from Jas Townsend & Son. They specialize in 18th Century reenactment wares, but hey have "quality made in USA knives." Of interest to me, in particular, are the round handled trade knife and the skinner trade knife (very reminiscent of the Nessmuk style)
Just to give you what I am looking for: high carbon steel, ideal for throwing sparks from chert or flint, about 3/16" or so. I am definitely into traditional scoutcraft, as far as use is concerned.
Thanks
