I'd forgotten I had some of this stuff from a previous non-knife project, and decided to use it on a Frosts plastic-handled carbon steel Mora.
Simply dropped the knife in a jar of the stuff for a couple hours and out came this:
Came out a beautiful graphite color with a matte texture. The Jasco Metal Etch was not too expensive, about $3.50 for a pint sized bottle.
