Jason Clark makes an incredible flipper. This is my second, the first being a Wharncliff flipper. Like that one, this flips out like an assisted blade. IKBS is smooth as glass while lock-up is absolutely rock solid with no blade play in any direction. Blade is perfectly centered and the tolerances between the blade and handles is just ridiculous. Blade is the sharpest I've ever felt. Truly a razor blade.

As soon as I saw the blade, I had a CRAZY urge to make a feather stick. Sweet blade man!

Thanks for sharing. That is a really cool knife. Part of the reason I like BladeForums is because you get to see cool stuff like this.

Love love love that knife! I came very close to buying it myself. Now I want to see a pic of you shaving with it!

Beautiful knife. I've slowly come to the conclusion over the past couple years that straight-edged blades are among the most useful for edc tasks. I've long been a fan of wharncliffes and sheepfoots, but I just recently purchased two different CRKT Razels and find them supremely functional for pretty much any imaginable edc use. This knife fits right in with this philosophy. Thanks for the great pics, and conga rats on the new knife.

I was like, "I've made a flipper?" but then I realised it was someone else.

Thinking about it, that it involved making knives should have been a giveaway.

How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking? I am in the search of an affordable custom knife and I can't find one on his site.

Not sure what that one goes for but a full ti wharncliff starts at $450.

Wow, these are beautiful blades for a steal of a price. I think that I'll have to do a little looking on his web page.
