One of my challenges is that as a part-time maker, I can't produce enough product to make a knife everyone. If I spend my time making hunters, then I don't get to make as many historical projects. In order to help more people get a Fry knife, I've partnered with White River Knife and Tool in Fremont, Michigan. White River has manufactured these versions of my Utility Hunter in the USA, out of US materials, to my specifications. To the best of our ability, this knife is the same profile, same edge style and thickness, and same quality heat treatment as my custom versions.

OAL is 7 3/4", with a 3 1/4" blade. The handle material is bolted on, with an unlined lanyard hole. The blade finish is tumbled stonewash.

The steel in these knives is S35VN, professionally heat treated to 59/60 RC. I had intended to use primarily Ultrex Suretouch for this production run, but the material wasn't available in sufficient quantities. So, I turned the White River folks loose to use what they had around their factory. Some colors there will just be two knives, while others may have six or more. I was able to secure enough Suretouch that there will be roughly 30 knives available in each color. The sheaths are leather, manufactured by Smith and Son in Sulphur, Louisiana.

I've got them out for pre-order now, with delivery in mid May. The first 50 will get a numbered COA. Here's the link to see more, or to purchase.

Those look great Jason!

Here's today's video. Shameless plug with a cute kid ;)

Sheaths are here and boxes are here. Knives left Michigan yesterday. Not too late to get in on the first 50 with numbered COA.

This one has all the measurements and specifications, plus a sharpness demonstration.

That is a really nice design and a very good blade steel. I hope you sell a bunch of those and make more.

Thanks, so far so good! Moved 68 out of the first 120 so far. I'll have some on my table 7Q at Blade Show. After that I'll make a plan for how many pieces go in the fall run.

Looks great. White River makes nice stuff. Had the firecraft fc7 but my brother talked me out of it.

I'm a fan of Jerry Fisk, and I agree, that's a recommendation you can trust. I have two Sendero Classics, and carry one or the other 95% of the time.
I've said it before, they're good people, who make really good knives. Hope your side venture goes well, looks like you're off to a fine start!

I personally have lost a gajillion pocket knives, mostly my own. Dad knew better than to let me borrow one lol. My 5 year olds have swiped and lost more than one blade out of my shop. Fortunately they swipe from the not-done-yet pile.
