My fiance and I currently live in a construction zone with only a refrigerator and microwave for appliances and dinnerware made from paper and plastic. It is always a challenge to find "tools" for food prep and she loves to get into the top drawer where my users are kept for the time being. I finally caught her in the act. This time she was using the Jason Knight bowie to cut open a Popsicle for herself and Lucia (her three year old daughter).

For all his talk about taking the head off a dear with one clean stroke (or cutting a Subenza in half), I can't help but wonder if Jason's ever tested one of his choppers like this. :D

Sorry for the poor photos, but I caught her with the iPhone.

I just noticed that if you look in the drawer next to her vitamins and prescription that you can see my Kevin Cashen fighter that she uses for opening mac and cheese boxes. Gawd I love this girl. :)

That's just funny and I don't care who ya are!!! She is a keeper Scott, good for you.

I would love to see a picture of it from the side, Jason is one of my favorite makers, his stuff is always nice.

it's kind of like a retroactive cryo treatment. I'll bet the blade just gets harder and more flexible with every popsicle.
:)

Here's another pic of the knife. Again, it's not very good because the cord for my camera is packed away and the iPhone is my only option. I love this knife because I've put her to hard work while camping and jeeping with my friends, but she'll still take the hair off your arm with nary a single lick on the stone as of yet.

Here's a pick of the girl too: always messing with my tools. I love her because I've put her to hard work...oh, wait, that's what she does to me...why do I love her again? LOL. Hard to believe she's a girly girl and a lawyer to boot. Guess she just likes slumming it with me. :D

I added one last photo of me out with the ATFOR (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Off Roading) crew. The knife is tucked down there in my belt (and yes, it gets used). This is there very picture that inspired me to trim that gut down, because it hid that purdy knife all too well.
