Thats such a sweet bowie Jeff. And it looks like awesomeness in the hand.. is that a word? I really dig how thick that blade is.

Thanks Jon! yeah this knife is a beast but very comfortable in the hand. It is at least .32 but is balanced like a dream! I guess the best way to describe it would be a Founder's Bowie Variant....very similar but some subtle differences including a wider blade height.

regards Jeff

that's one of the best looking bowies I think I've ever seen.
Way to go Jeff, great score!
Very nice work Jason, I know you're out there somewhere, (doing cool stuff)...

That's a beautiful beefy beast. Just a terrific sheath as well. Congrats Jeff - thanks for showing!

I never tire of seeing work by Jason or Paul!
Nice work, gentlemen.

Thanks for peek Jeff

Nice thing about Coop's photo is I can make it life-size and dream!

Jason's really got it down to a science. He just bangs out one incredible knife after another. Truly an amazingly talented and very hard-working bladesmith...

But tell me, is it just the picture or is there some serious distal taper in that blade?

You got THAT right.

Jeff and I looked this over and we felt the spine thickness SO compelling that I purposely shot the handle so the spine grabbed your eye. It's got some authority.

Jeff is a conscientous collector and steers towards quality: He had one of the Paranee/Wheeler's also. Damn him. :grumpy:

Well said !
That's beauty congratulations to the maker and to the owner...

Nice!!! Jason does "basic bowie" as well as anyone and that is not easy. No fancy decoration to hide behind.;)

I had the great pleasure of meeting Jeff for the first time at the show. A real gentleman who has an eye for quality. Yes, I tried to get this knife and the Paranee/Wheeler off of him. Was not successful :(

As Coop said, this knife has a bit of extra beef in the blade. It's balance was excellent and the wood was extremely handsome. Paul's sheath was killing me! I absolutely loved it and the combination of knife and sheath were a treat to see and handle in person.

Jeff, glad you had Coop document this knife for you. That way when you sell it to me (along with the Paranee/Wheeler) you'll have the pic as a historical reference :D

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
