Today, the mailman was very good to me. other than the fact that the Express Mail package didnt show up for two days.

Here is my Jason Knight camp knife that I ordered at the Blade show. Blade is 11" of forged L6, and is a straight back design. Flat ground very thin, and very evenly. Stainless single guard with room for choking up in front of the guard. Handle is a solid chunk of sculpted Ringed Gidgee wood with a single mosaic pin and a lined thonghole. This knife, although understandably blade heavy, doesnt weigh nearly as much as you would think. Nice leather swinger style sheath too. :)

Needless to say, I am a happy camper! :)

One more. Even though the blade is straight back, it sure looks like it curves upward.

Excellent. About exactly how I'd ask a maker to do a camp knife. And in L6. Spot on. Mind saying what he charged you for this?

I have not seen contemporary Bowies with as much dropped edge as on Jason Knight's Bowie. I think a dropped edge might hang up on a hunting knife, it is awesome on a camp knife. Very distinct look and top notch craftsmanship. What a get, Danbo ! Jason.

I think Jason makes great knives. I've picked them up and looked them over, and they not only look good they feel super. He makes nice hunters too. Jason had some knives at the blade show with a lightly etched blade that I thought were beautiful.

Danbo, do you have Jasons website, or e-mail?
