Jason won the fighter award at the Arkansas show this year and asked me to post a photo of the knife. Thanks for looking.

It's a nice blade and I like the shape of the handle but that's a major dropped edge. I spoke to another maker who said without it the knife would lose the recurve but I would love to see this one with an edge closer to the ricasso and rounded off. Looks like a great fighter otherwise for my tastes...

Jason that is a Great Looking Knife!! I really need to decide what I want from Jason. My name will be up in a couple of months. Might just specify the handle material and let him build something new.
 
Jason, it was good to see you again and you did a great job on the grinding of that one. Different types of grinds do offer a different look of the knife.
I will trade you a neck knife for it if you still have it. :)
 
That picture, while very nice, doesn't come close to showing how sweet the knife is. The W2 blade actually has a very nice visible hamon from the clay hardening.

That's a Damn Sweet Fighter-Definately Two Thumbs Up.I've been a Jason Knight fan since I bought My 1 st Knight Bowie from a Fellow Formite.It was a BIG 10 in.Recurve Bowie,I have a smaller fighter now(That I also bought from Forumite ).He makes some of the Coolest Bowies & Fighters I've seen.Once you buy one of his knives-You'll want to keep buying more.The Fit & Finish of his knives are Exceptional.

I prefer a larger zombie killer, but that knife is gorgeous. Rakish actually.
Moving at the speed of light while standing still.
 
"Rakish" is spot on. This is a terrific knife - interesting and captivating lines. The combination of the raised clip, dropped edge and recurve profile is quite dramatic. I dig it. Not suprised that the judges did as well.

although Jason is a neanderthal he makes a decent knife. Here is a pic of him finishing up a spear.:D

All kidding aside, No one on the planet makes a better knife, especially in the Bowie/Fighter mode. Congratulations on the Best Fighter Award, well deserved
