Recently received this one from Jason, and I couldn't be happier. This guy keeps on impressing the heck out of me with his fine fit and finish and handle shaping. This one is a smallish knife; blade is about 4" of forged L6 with a very visible temper line(although, not in my crappy pics). Stainless single guard and African Blackwood handle. Jason doesn't like the look of pins in handles, so he inlayed pearl guitar fret markers over the pin on each side. Very classy touch! It even has a very nice, heavy leather boot clip sheath.

Jason is making some VERY sweet knives. I bet that handle fits your big paws perfectly. As soon as I get myself organized, I will put up a picture of Jason's latest Bowie, the "Raider".

That's a very classy and elegant little hunter Danbo. I really like Jason's work.

well, after conversing with the proud new owner... I thought I'd seen this puppy before... but it wasn't - it was a version handled differently...

But otherwise, it's similar enough that I'd hafta believe it feels as good as the one I saw - Excellent balance, fit'n'finish... and that little detail of covering the handle pin with MOP fretboard inlays is just the cat's meow!

Okay, I guess I'll have to keep my eyes open for Jason's future offerings...

Awesome Danbo!!

Gorgeous piece. The MOP piece gives it a rather different look. I wondered why many of his previous knives didn't have pins in the handle... The handle shaping looks like a superb work of human engineering. The clean-ness is striking. Jason.
