1095 & 15N20 Twisted ladder pattern damascus 8 5/8” blade.
Guard & pommel are heat blued mild steel with stacked leather handle.
13 3/4” overall.
Damascus ring is made from same billet of steel as the blade & is lined with fine silver.

The handle is interesting, but your hi-res photography highlights a weak looking blade with weaker damascus. Lining the ring with a further reactive metal like silver is ill advised....if he wanted white metal, gold, platinum or rhodium would have done the job, otherwise, with skin oils, the metal will blacken and leave a mark on the wearer's hand.

My ladies all like silver rings, two wear about 6 total, they have no problems with "marks" on their hands. The only problem with silver rings is they wear away with time, but so does high carat gold.

Not sure what is "weak" damascus, but not everyone likes highly patterned blades, they are sometimes "too busy".

silver is fine for rings and low layer patterns are bold, not weak.

while a plain twist isnt my favorite pattern for a blade i really like the rest of the knife, the handle is very daggery, the ring and sheath also look very nice.

ill have to try a riveted sheath like that one soon, i use my knives a lot and im always worried ill cut the stitching in the sheath at some point, it hasnt happened yet but it would only take one bad draw.
