Javanese Kujang --what's it for?

I have seen this Javanese blade at Valiantco.com, which has all sorts of odd blades from Indonesia, the Phillipines, etc but none seem as strange as the Kujang. They even have a whole page of upper end models with finely carved scabbards, etc. What was this blade intended for, it has a very specific and unusual shape.

Anyone out there that can help?
 
Wow, that was quick! Thanks for the link--I figured it was likely to be a decorative or symbolic/ritual item but sometimes an unusual shape has a practical use once you know the intent of the users.
