I'm unable to watch YouTube!

When I click on a vid, I get the following message:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.

When I click on "Get the latest flash player", I go to Adobe Flash where it says it is successfully downloaded, but didn't give me a "Save" option.

My internet explorer is IE 6. When I check security settings, it says I have Scripting enabled.

Short of a reboot or unplugging my PC, I have exhausted my extensive knowledge of possible solutions.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello??? Is anybody home???

ALWAYS try a reboot FIRST, before you waste your time on anything else.

It was the first thing I did.

Didn't work.

jfindon, thanks. I was able to download and save the plugin, but when I attempted to run it I got the following message:

Directory not found.

Setup could not find your browser's plugins directory.

Click Browse to locate the plugins directory.

To install to this directory, click Install.

You may install the plugin into a different directory but the plugin may not work properly with your browser.

Destination:
C:\Windows\System32\Macromedia\Flash

I hit Install and moseyed over to Youtube.

No joy.

Must not have installed in the right place.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks.

Thanks for the help, all.
