Hey folks, Jay asked me to post these shots of the 153 he aquired a few weeks ago. He brought it into the shop last week for some refurbishing, had some mighty deep scratches from some kind if ridiculously course wheel or belt. Here are the results, worked on by some old Schrade hands; Alex H and Harold B.:

Looks a lot better than when it was all dark and ugly. Either way, I can't see making it look good like this affects the value. Looks good.
 
Thanx for posting the pics Eric. Wish I could have done a better job with them. Very happy with the job alex and Harold did.
 
I have one of those I bought many years ago and often wonder what it's worst these days. I always thought it was a pretty good design.
