JB Knives Scalpel.

Just got a knife from JB knives. I bought the First gen Scalpel.

Stats are:
Overall: 8 5/8"
Blade: 4 1/8
Blade is A2 heat treated by Paul Bos
Black and Blue G10 handles with blue spsacers.


First impressions:
The handle on this guy is super comfy it really locks into the hand. Overall the knife has no flaws that I can see and that includes the fully file-worked spine. This knife came VERY sharp with a nice Super polished edge. I went and took it to a scrap piece of sole leather and it was like a hot knife through butter.

Overall I couldn't be more please with what I received. Great price Fast shipping and Wonderful customer service. With one of the nicest fixed blades I've had the opportunity to handle recently.

Update:

I got a chance to put some use on this bad boy Moving my Fiance's friend into her new appartment. I broke down about 50 boxes into 3 inch wide strips just to see what would happen. During all the cutting there was no hotspots on the handle felt great the whole time. The blade was perfectly suited for this and made quick work of all that cardboard. When I was all done the knife needed about 30 sec on a sharpmaker to put it right back to freaking scary sharp.

I am extremely pleased with this knife and see myself in the future picking up another knife or two from JB
