JB Silent Soldier, blade type options???

Looking to pick up a JB silent soldier for SD and some EDC. I cant pick between the wharnie or the drop point. Any input or opinions?
 
They're the exact same specs sans blade shapes, so whatever floats your boat. I would say a Wharnie, but that's just me.
 
I love my wharnie. Makes a great little food prep knife, a good box opener, and is much more effective for a 2" blade-length for self defense. When you get into larger knives there's enough belly to really do damage, but at 2" it's less than ideal. Think of it as a boxcutter in your hand that if held correctly can't be taken from you short of them slicing up their own hand in the process or taking your hand with it.(I don't recommend using it for defense if the other guy has a weapon capable of also taking off your hand ;). )
 
Ok thanks :) by the way, any idea if Jason will be doing a run of the wharnie version? on his website all he has is drop point

I know a few sites have them in stock, just ordered mine last week. Unfortunately I don't think we're allowed to name non-members, and seeing as I don't know if this website is a partner or not, I'll just say they're a headquarters for all things blade-related.
