So I didn't realize that Lagouile was a style of knife and that Jean Dubost had three different price ranges of their version of this knife adapted to cutting steak. I ordered these online from Crate and Barrel for their neat look sight unseen. When it came it had been packaged in a nice box however upon opening it I saw this. The quality control (the steak knives were made in France) did not catch the fact that it was packaged up with a missing signature bee logo off one of the steak knife handles. We looked everywhere in the packaging for it but apparently it was packaged that way.
What junk! I had thought these were the $100 set on sale at half off but they were their low budget set of steak knives by Dubost. I might just go back to a set from Wustof or something.
