Jeans Watch Pocket sized knives?

The video is a bit fuzzy but it looks like the new sway back jack. Tony's current collaboration with Case.

Some of my pants have a watch pocket big enough for a Wenger SI SAK. Mostly though, I keep a Case Peanut in there. Anything 3 inches or so is about right. I'd like to try a Butterbean sometime.

Hmm, that seems to have two blades, though. Hoping to see a tiny pattern with a wharn/clip combo

i wear levis regular fit (boot cut please not sure the number) and my Buck "Rosie" Alpha Dorado fits almost perfect, just peaks out but stays put  Usually got something CV and yellow riding in my regular pocket:D
i honestly dont need to carry the buck but it was my most expensive knife and i love it so i carry it, i tell my wife its just in case the apples put up a fight!
cheers

Some of my wrangles, and old big and tall from sears could fit a 4 1/8" trapper in the watch pocket no problem...(that was with 52 waist though; bigger size, the pocket will be longer). What I wear now(45waist) fits a peanut with room to spare, so I can see anything at around 3" going in most watch pockets.

What I carry in mine is a little old camilus stockman(model 29 IIRC) that had broken blades when I got it, so I re-ground/re-built it to a whittler.

A few that I have found to fit in a watch pocket;

Peanut. (A personal favorite.)
Boker 240 pen knife.
Victorinox pocket pal.
Wenger Patriot.
Buck Companion.
Christy knife.
Old Timer minute man.

While not in the same class as many of the knives mentioned already, the Rough Rider Mini Cannitler is a great little tiny knife at 2.25 in closed...

I certainly agree that this is a good place to carry a knife - trouble is that any knife small enough to fit in there is just too small for a lot of the tasks my knife gets put to. About a year ago I started removing ( tearing in seamstress parlance) about the last 2"of the bottom seam out of the back bottom of my Jeans watch pocket. You then need to immediately seal the ends up with one of the products made for preventing fraying. or you'll end up with threads catching your knife.
This works like a sheath - even pretty large and useful folders close to dissapear - especially if you have STR graft a lowrider clip onto 'em. This carry is also very secure - haven't had one of those socially embarising moments when a knife clatters to the ground at my feet since I went to this system.

Also the Spyderco Micro-Dyad which replaced the RR Mini-Cannitler in my watch pocket some time ago...

How do you get those little blades open?

Please remember that San Francisco based Levi S jean maker spends the money you give them trying to take your guns away, Kenneth Cole, same thing

The Benchmade 707 works very well in the watch pocket. Oops, I realize it's not a 'traditional' pattern, but there it is the thing works anyway!

A.G., that discussion is appropriate for other areas of bladeforums but not this one. (Regardless of our personal sympathies and opinions.)
