I have never owned, handled, or seen in person a Rat Cutlery knife. I have always been intrigued by the designs, most recently by the Izula, and have given some thought to purchasing one. Well, my mind is now made up. As soon as I can, I will be buying an Izula, probably with the kit included.
What helped me to decide, you ask? In a word: Nub. This troll, who obviously had some sort of hidden agenda, gave Jeff every reason to blow a gasket and/or ban him. I would have. However, Jeff, a man of class, first tried to make good on Nub's purchase, and then, when Nub started flaming, simply closed the threads and refused to ban him. I can not help but buy products from a man with such class (and please believe me, I am not being sarcastic), especially when his product is so well regarded by so many.
Jeff, I applaud you, and all associated with your company.
Edit: The Izula will be just the first of hopefully many Rats in my stable.
