Jeff Cooper

I saw that on the Commentaries today. I'd been aware that he wasn't well but evidently I didn't have the whole story.

On a somewhat positive note, Cooper had a good understanding of the importance in writing things down and we're left with a legacy of sorts. Love him or hate him, he left plenty of reading material behind. I, for one, regret not being able to argue about it anymore.

I didn't agree with all (or even most) of his opinions but I feel a profound sense of loss at his passing.

He was and is a mark in the gun world to be remembered.

Prayers for his family and gun community from Montana.

I for one will miss him. I didn't agree with everything he said, but a lot of it seemed to fit with my experience. He was not at all nervous about committing his opinions to paper, where they were, by and large, well received. God be merciful, Jeff...........prayers up....

Wow... I grew up reading all of his stuff. Like others, I didn't agree with everything, but he sure did contribute to the gun world.
