I had one of those plain ole black Buck Pak-Lite skinners and I'm a colorful girl so Jeff was my answer. This is the second knife he has done for me and both times my first thought was WOW this dudes talented. Enjoy and post your thoughts below.

He used Orange and Barney Purple (looks pink to me but I like it) Duracoat and did reverse on each side.

Notice in this pic the top of the big hole is barney purple.

Notice this pic the bottom of that same big hole is Orange.

:thumbup:Looks great!
I just emailed Jeff tonight.
Got his info from Jimmie @ Fishwolf Knives, after getting one of his fine SBK's and matching marlinspike + siamesed kydex sheaths.
I was asking Jimmie about powder-coating a couple knives for me...he told me to contact Jeff for CeraCoat/DuraCoat.
Waiting to hear his ideas for my awaited Scrapivore LE.
After visiting his website,it's obvious---this man has a real artistic talent!

Duracoat is a pretty durable finish. I do both Cerakote and Duracoat work so if anyone is interested email me or PM me.

Was emailing Jeff tonight, and he sent me a couple pictures of an ESEE 3 he had camo'd...looked great!
Then he sent pictures of another knife with a barbwire pattern that also rokkt hard! and I just picked up my cell & called him.
We had a helluva fine conversation.The man has talent + he's a fine conversationalist,too.

I really hope he'll post those camo & barbwire pix here, when he has time.

I was waiting to send him my Wetterling's Hunting Axe to coat, along with my new Scrapivore LE,but found out it's gonna be awhile more before the Scrap Yard has 'em ready.

So,after the Christmas rush,I'm sending the axe & some other gear. Will send the LE in Jan./Feb. when it arrives.

Gnarly,
pictures do not begin to show this gentleman's work. I have two sheaths for an Izula he did for my wife with the pink finish along with the ribbon on them, & a knife he "gifted" to her. Only when you get them in your hands and can actually see the work up close, only then it becomes reality.

nice looking job on yours as well. Jeff truly is an expert when it comes to this type of work. Please post some shots when Christmas is over . . . :)
Merry Christmas to you both, & to you as well Mr. Forbush . . . :)
Be safe.

That looks outstanding,on the ZT/H 0551.Love that knife! Mine is bone-stock,so far...

I have started a small collection of things to send for coating; just waiting for my Scrapivore LE to send with it. Hopefully, you'll see the pictures here, when he's done.

Have had several enjoyable emails back & forth with Jeff.

But I forgot to tell him: Thank You! for your service to my Country.
