So I had the opportunity to meet Jeff Hall at the Pasadina Knife Expo and look over some of his knives and products. Jeff had a few of his Bounty Hunters with awesome fit and finish, but the market has been a little soft on his folders. That and carrying a 4 inch folders is something I can't do anymore where I work
Well I did end up purchased a Nemesis Knives LMAX axe at a good discount because "I has a funny color thing going on with the anodizing right near the head." To tell you the truth folks, it didn't look like second quality to me, but Jeff said "for 2XX dollars, I think the product should be perfect"
Not many makers or manufactures feel that way any more and I'm glad to meet one. He showed me some other "2nds" and you can be assured that Jeff has got some great QC going on to be so picky. Jeff is a great guy to deal with so check out his stuff.
