I know you run your Jungle Survival courses, which I have checked out ALOT and would love to be able to attend.
Also, your Map and Compass courses.

But, you guys ever considered hosting a "Wilderness" Survival course here stateside?

I'm a bit more wilderness bias than jungle, must be the Tennessee Redneck in me :D, and of course we dont have an abundance of jungle here.

I for one would be greatly interested if you guys hosted one, So, ever considered it?

We can do it in Florida or any swamp area.

But what you guys don't understand is how many millions of ants, spiders and chiggers they will have to fly in for the real experience. The real survival is the 8 hours on a small boat with only our pretty faces to look at. I'll be there wherever it goes down, heck we can do it in my backyard!

Its exactly the millions of ants, spiders and chiggers I am thinking of when I say "Wilderness" course not "Jungle" Im itching now thinking of it.

Bear.. OUCH... that would just SUCK! I've had some pretty nasty pest attacks but that looks just plain ole nasty!

We've had a ton of requests for this and we're seriously thinking about putting a one-day program together. That way we can do a weekend with one day for land nav and one day of survival.

Hope you're thinking of Alabama. I'd drive down that way for a two-day class.

I agree a stateside course (the further north and west the better, in my book) would be awesome. I'd definitely be interested!

I'd be in for a RAT survival "wilderness" course.

I have looked and would one day like to go to the jungle training - for the challenges it brings - but my schedule doesn't really allow me. Getting a family length vacation is hard enough to arrange.

A wilderness survival course would be awesome.

A Friday evening "classroom", Saturday field, and Sunday field course would be great.

I would go most anyplace east of the Mississippi for it as it is in reasonable driving distance for me. The further west would be more difficult.

Jeff and Mike if you guys get a type of format on a course, people may be able to help you coordinate in different states. I can think of several possible locals. in my state (Ohio) that a course could be held.

RAT Wilderness survival - great idea!!! :D

Let's see what we can come up with. May take a while since I'm up to my ass in alligators right now with the knife business.

How about northern U.S or Canada for cold Weather survival? Im sure alot of you guys would like to visit B.C after seeing pitdog's pictures:D.
