So back in November of 2014 I emailed Jens to see about getting a Monte Carlo, I think they had JUUSSTT come out and I dug'em... Thirteen months later I had a little danish surprise waiting for me in my email...
Let's talk some specs eh?
Blade: 2.5"
OAL: 6.25"
Steel: RWL34
Weight: 2.3oz
This is the first Anso that I've been able to score, Jens' fit and finish is second to none, and his designs are unique and refreshing.
I'll be honest... I've owned or handled a couple of the other "detent driven slip joints," that are out there... and I haven't been the biggest fan of them, but this one is a step above the others.
The handrubbed blade finish on this is flawless. And the engraved "Anso," logo is super classy.
The other thing that I am really impressed with is the colors that Anso is able to get out of Ti. His anodizing is some of the best i've seen. This one is Blue/Gold.
This is a small knife, but not so small that you couldn't carry it as your only blade. It's also (from my understanding) EU and NYC/Chicago legal... So that's always cool.
Well that's it guys, hope you liked it!
