according to the website... "Closed until current orders are delivered. Thank you for your patience..."

course, with that legal condition i read that Au just imposed on no more mail order blades... that might be damned tricky.

a real shame. in my copious free time and eventual money, i was hoping to check out one of his offerings.

course, linger, beck, and mtknives, and select others for that precious WSK

Does anyone have a Jensen WSK in a Pass around. I would really like to see one. I have heard a lot and their design is very interesting. My team is wanting to put a similar design into production.
We launched with the Predator WSK first but was a second choice version.

They seemed to be fairly robust blades from what others have said and the design appearance. It is a shame. It is also unfortunate that it took this long to address their inability to engage with customers. I had numerous difficulties even trying to communicate with them.... I apparently was not alone. I still would have liked to obtain some items. It is unfortunate they went out under such a black cloud!:(

well, as with the Beck wsk, it would be best if you could offer either carbon steel or a good heat-treatable edge-retaining steel other than 440c, which isn't very inspiring, even though i'm TOLD that modern 440c isn't the nasty stuff it used to be, i've had horrible experiences with it, and shy away completely. it doesn't have to be stainless, or s30v, or even modern wonder tool steels, but anything other than 440 anything would be nice.

as for seeing one, good luck. precious few seem to have made it to the states, and the only one i know of was a weird lefty grind. they're not horribly expensive like a Beck wsk, but a Beck would be easier to find (as you have found out).

so, whip out that cad program, and add a tanto and/or shovel tip to your wsk design, and have at it.

This could be a good thing, perhaps JEB can take this time to get their act together, produce the blades they have promised and move past their current issues.

I really feel they make amazing knives, they arent con-artists really, they just got in over their heads with their business.

I for one wish them the best.

I bought a Evo Spec Ops (8.5", S30V) a year or so back for $750. Great knife, holds a razor sharp edge and is as tough as nails.

Like in the previous threads, there was a delay between the expected finished date and when I got it - I even had the chance to visit him at home and check out his huge selection of designs and his workshop !. :).

I hope Peter works things out cause it would be a shame if he dropped out of business.

okay, worse, his website is totally down with a message of "We apologize for any inconvenience. This site will be back on line soon."

hrrrmmmmmm :(

Would you be willing to post some pictures of your knife? I have only seen a few. We have a design kicking around the shop that people say is similar to jensen design. We did this one more for a fighting tactical but with multi-functional survival purpose. Had a Ranger or Recon in mind for this type ofe vesitility.

I've seen Jensens blades at a show a couple of years ago before he got himself into trouble and I'm sure any knifemaker could replicate any one of his designs without much trouble, as far as I could see they were all chisel ground.
There is no excuse for taking peoples money or knives and not delivering. He could have at least stopped orders until things were sorted out and kept in constant contact with those people who had outstanding orders or just refunded with an apology.

That's a damn shame that they closed down. I was hoping to order one of their Kunai elite series. Hope it is just temporary.

Those are some cool designs. RS6 can you make those designs? that would be a cool design to put into production. I would like to see a preview of your next design.

We could make this design. We have something very similar but not having seen this up close makes it difficult for duplication. Sounds like a chisel edge. not sure if I am nuts about that I think I would rather have a grind on both side of the blade. Just me but probably easier to produce.
So am I understanding this description correctly for those of you who have this blade. Is it really flat on one side the other is has grind?
description reminds me of CRKT knife. the balance and design are pretty radical. looks like a challengin piece, I thought our angles were tough.
Looks like the Sawback feature could be effective and if you penetrate with blade that upon withdrawal there would be more cutting effect rather than it hanging on the withdrawing.
Not sure if I want to make another WSK style knife. we are working on a tactical fighter right now. we are in 2nd revision.

That EVO Survival Hatchet / Knife / Axe design looks like it could be pretty useful in making shelters to make a Hobbit jealous.

I want one ... I will have to bookmark that site and hope they get it back up and running.
