hi everybody, this is my first post (yes, i read the faq)!

i just moved in sweden and i found a knife in a flea market. what i heard about swedish steel is that it's a good one, but i didn't find futher information on the internet. do anybody know something about jernbolaget eskilstuna?

note: this is NOT for selling purpose, it's simply curiosity! thank you!

Yes, most Eskilstuna made knives are good, due to good steels and heat-treatment.
Your Cleaver has seen some abuse, but a regrind on a beltsander will fix that.

There is a book written by Marmèr about the Eskilstuna knifemaking era.

That is a interesting looking knife! I like how it has a little belly instead of full flat. I love swedish steel, I have a kitchen slicer in swedish steel and it is a fantastic knife.
