Hi, Jerry!

Why don't you open a Busse Custom Shop in Germany? It seems this would be the only chance for me to get my prototype made out of INFI. I think Busse Combat is very busy at the moment to get things going, the new line, the new homepage, etc. I guess this is the reason why you don't answer emails.

I haven't received an answer from you or Marc on my project. Sorry, but this is rather frustrating.

I would also be willing to make my own knife out of raw INFI stock, send it back to Busse Combat for heattreat and scales ...

Regards

Mark,
I'm not Jerry but I'll speculate. As far as I know Jerry does all of the customs, in order to open a Busse Custom shop in Germany there would need to be another Jerry. The thought of this is just too much to comprehend ;)

Although I've heard that the Carling company has been trying to clone him for years(mainly because it would double their sales since he's the only person that drinks the stuff)

I've heard that there are different types of customs, some are done exclusively by Jerry and some are made by the shop's bladesmiths and Jerry only finishes the blades.

So it would be no problem, Jerry would have to cooperate with some European knifemaker, heat treatment (which is the most important part in making an excellent knife from an excellent steel) should remain Jerry's secret and therefore the knifes should be sent back to Busse for it.

The biggest problem however is to get in contact with anyone from Busse Custom Shop ... I've sent at least eight emails so far to Jerry and Marc but I never got an answer. As I mentioned before, this is rather frustrating.

Regards

Hi Jerry! Thank you very much. I'll think about it in case I don't get a job here. I am glad you like the prototype.

I am looking forward to hearing from you again concerning the order situation in the Custom Shop. :)

My alternative offer is still valid: send me a bar of INFI, I'll make my own knife out of it and send it back for heat treatment, slabs and sharpening. As I could use a laser to produce the contour I could also make more than one of it, in case someone else likes it as well. :D

Here is a rendered picture of the blade.
