Had an opportunity to talk with Jerry over the phone a few days ago concerning a naming problem (I was wanting to name my handmade knife "business" Black Swamp Knives because that's the historical name of the area I live/work in) and we figured it was too close to the Swamp Rat imagery for comfort. He certainly lived up to his reputation as a cool guy! Very courteous and an all around nice guy! Not that I need to tell you folks that over here, but when so much business is done the down and dirty backstabbing way these days, it's a breath of fresh air when you cross paths with a gentleman who knows how to do things the right way. :D

Unfortunately it sounds like I'll have to cancel my proposed runs of Battle Misters™ and NARGs™ and probably a model I was going to call the Retired Duty®. :( :p
 
LMAO... You got lucky. Most guys end up buying a knife while talking to him :eek:

He's a cool man to deal with. Stick around, it's a fun group too ;)
 
Hmmm, I like the cut of your jib, KAAK! Mole rats... not bad at all! And my first ad was GOING to read "Just in case you'd like to take it with you..." with this cool picture of a skeleton holding one of my Retired Duties™.

I always figured him more for a "Back Rat" due to his profession. :)
 
Back Rat's a little too close to Swamp Rat and I wouldn't want to step on any toes! Jerry, INFE™®© is proprietary stuff, but I'd say it lands between surgical steel and the stuff Pakistani knives are made from, performance-wise. It's gonna be sweet if it ever hits the market. I'm also planning a sweet sharpened prybar called a Swamp Bat™. You heard it here first! :p
 
What about the "Steel Liver", although Jerry's probably got that one also. I guess he'd have to after drinking CBL all these years :p
